What are rift Keystone fragments?
Rift Keystone Fragments are
used to open Nephalem Rifts. As of version 2.0. 6, a Nephalem Rift costs five rift keystone fragments to open. A keystone fragment is generally awarded for completing a single bounty, with bonus keystone fragments dropped in a Horadric Cache after completing all bounties in a given area.
How do you get rift Keystone fragments in Diablo 3?
Rift Keystone Fragment- Rift Keys are obtained 1 per bounty, and there are usually 2 keys in a Horadric Cache. Thus a player can earn up to 7 for clearing all 5 bounties in an act, plus the bounty bag.
- Greater Rift Keys (level 1 only) are dropped randomly 1 by any Rift Guardian.
How do you open greater rifts?
To access a Greater Rift, simply
complete a regular Nephalem Rift in any difficulty. When you defeat the Rift Guardian, they'll have a chance to drop a Greater Rift Key. You can then use this new key at the Nephalem Obelisk, similar to other Rift Fragments — this will open a Greater Rift.
