SOTUS S wasn't cruel and like everybody else (almost), Arthit and Kongpob also got their happy ending. Even though Arthit was PDA-phobic up until the very end, he finally came around and confessed his feelings/love openly towards Kong during the intern-farewell extravaganza at Ocean Electric.
Does what the duck have a happy ending?
For me they have always been the best part of What the Duck anyway. Their story follows the novel and it is just as beautifully heart breaking. I do wish they had gone the same route as the movie and given it a happy ending but the bittersweet ending is well done and not unexpected.
